5G Network Evolution and Automation
to Support Slicing and Open Architectures
Hosted by:
When
June 27-29, 2023
Introduction
How does transport support slicing and low latency services in the RAN in near real time? Considering service requirements and policies, Real Time RIC, test and measurement perspectives to ensure performance objectives are achieved.
Workshop Goals
- Understand how 5G evolution and automation will support slicing
- Explore EDGE evolution and segment routing with MPLS or IPv6 choices
- Assess maturity and future opportunities and challenges for Service Management Orchestration (SMO)
- Understand how wireless complements fiber in 5G transport deployments
