WEBINAR: Antenna in Package (AiP) for 5G mmWave Infrastructure

Millimeter-wave wireless applications offer tremendous advantages over traditional <6GHz wireless. The wide swaths of available bandwidth enable extremely high data rates to satisfy our ever-growing need for data. The usage of narrow beams enables spatial re-use of spectrum, which further increases network capacity. However, millimeter-wave deployments are faced with several fundamental challenges. Performance of electronics degrades as frequency increases, which further exacerbates the challenge of establishing reliable links over reasonable distances. In order to overcome these challenges, deployments use large arrays of antennas, but this drives up the cost and power consumption of the solution. A holistic Antennas-to-Algorithms approach to millimeter-wave solutions enables transformative enhancements in performance compared to the traditional siloed approach to RF systems. At the core of this holistic approach is the use of RF-SOI semiconductor technology for millimeter-waves. Considering why Antenna in Package (AiP) is important, considering AIP advantages, types of AiP for GNodeB, Repeater and CPE AiP designs and future directions.

WEBINAR: High Imaging Automotive Radar

As automotive OEMs increase safety content in vehicles, sensors that can see farther and detect objects sooner are required for full situational awareness. Highly granular data is needed to allow vehicles to react faster and make spilt second decisions in all weather conditions. Lunewave is reducing the number of sensors required to provide full coverage around the vehicle, makes the transition to ADAS and autonomous vehicles more reliable. We explore cutting edge antenna and sensor technology for automotive (ADAS/AV), wireless communications, robotics and drones. Assessing groundbreaking antenna based technology along with virtual demonstration of its 3rd generation high imaging automotive radar to understand sensor performance requirements, sensor mounting and vehicle design considerations.
