WEBINAR: Optimal Deployment Planning Using gNBs, Repeaters and Endpoints in FR2

Assessing the latest progress with mmWave deployments and a deeper dive into the question which is frequently asked: Why not implement T/R synchronization of repeaters to the network? Considering this question and answers which spans the realms of 3GPP standards, Tier-1 OEM techno-economic strategies, and practical implementation complexities.

WEBINAR: 5G End-to-End Orchestration and Automation of O-RAN Based Network Slices

Network slicing is key in guaranteeing verifiable or assured SLA at an application or at an end-user level, which is essential for monetizing new 5G services and new business models. Network slicing must be end-to-end, cutting across radio, transport, core and eventually across public clouds. To deliver network slicing at scale, service providers need to manage the complexity of orchestration, automation, and service assurance of these network slices across multiple domains, multiple clouds, multiple tenants, and multi-vendor ecosystems. Considering the E2E slice orchestration and assurance on O-RAN compliant 5G networks using Service Management and Orchestration (SMO), RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC) and RAN Slice SLA Assurance rApps and xApps.

WEBINAR: Sub-THz Technologies for Advanced In-Cabin Sensor Systems, Sensor Fusion and High-Speed Data Links

Advanced sensor systems and sensor fusion are the key components in the safe progression from Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to fully Automated Vehicles (AV). Radar is a key sensing technology for this kind of application due to its strong detection capability and robustness to environmental variations such as inclement weather and lighting extremes. Current car radar sensors operate mainly in the 24 GHz and 77 GHz bands in FMCW mode and cannot meet the complex challenges for safe driving of automated vehicles and mobile robots. The sub-terahertz frequency spectrum, 150 to 330 GHz, opens many doors to new features within the ADAS and AV domains, as it is perfectly suited for enhanced radar solutions with 4D imaging capability. This short-range, sub-THz frequency radar technology will also enable emerging applications such as in-cabin sensing and significantly improve outdoor sensing including road condition monitoring as essential new features towards the assisted and automated driving and improved road safety. The sub-THz technology also enables robust high-speed data links necessary for advanced automotive sensor fusion as well as for wireless communication systems. Considering key RF system requirements for sub-terahertz radars in next generation smart automotive electronic systems. Hardware design challenges, technology choice, hybrid integration and the commercialization aspects of the technology.
